From Marlborough Follow the A4 East for 3 miles. Take the right fork signposted to Great Bedwyn and Crofton Beam Engines. After ¾ mile turn right and follow the road for 2¼ miles into Great Bedwyn.

At the triangle in the centre of Great Bedwyn (opposite the Cross Keys), turn right following signs for Crofton Beam Engines. At the end of the village, where the road bends to the left, continue straight on following signs for Crofton Beam Engines. Continue into Crofton and follow the road round a 90° right hand bend. Crofton Lodge is on the right
after 50 yards.
 
From Hungerford Follow the A4 West for 2¼ miles. Turn left at the Wiltshire boundary following signs for Little Bedwyn. The road follows the canal through Little Bedwyn and then to Great Bedwyn. Turn left at the Three Tuns and then turn right at the triangle in the village centre - further directions as above.
